Ségolène Luherne is in charge of the Trademark and Design Department at HAUTIER IP. She has been assisting and advising her clients in their strategy of protection, enhancement and defense of trademarks, domain names and other intellectual property rights in France and abroad for over 20 years. Ségolène Luherne assists her clients in defining their industrial property strategy, and acquiring, valuing and defending their various industrial property rights.

She is regularly involved in trademark opposition proceedings, both in attack and defence, before the European Union Intellectual Property Office in Alicante (EUIPO) and the French Office (INPI).

She assists her clients in the drafting of contracts relating to industrial property and copyright.

Professional Commitments

Ségolène Luherne is regularly invited to contribute to courses organised by INPI and the CCI (French Chambers of Commerce and Industry). She also provides training in trademarks and designs on specialist master’s degrees in intellectual property, for instance at IUP Nice Sophia, Ecole Polytechnique Universitaire at Nice Sophia (Polytech Nice Sophia).

Ségolène Luherne is a member of APRAM (Association of Trademark and Design Law Practitioners) and MARQUES (European trademark law association). She is also part of the “Designs, copyright” working commission of the CNCPI (National Company of Industrial Property Attorneys).

Career

After several years’ experience at specialist Paris firms, Ségolène Luherne worked in the legal department of a large industrial group (ARNAUD group). She has been a member of Cabinet HAUTIER for more than 20 years.

She is responsible for the “Trademarks, Models, Domain Names, Contracts” legal department at Cabinet HAUTIER.
