Career

Thibault Marmonier joined Hautier IP in 2014 as an intellectual property lawyer. Passionate about technology and new technologies, the combination of technical and legal was an obvious choice for him. He thus specialized initially in patents, in particular by obtaining his CEIPI diploma and then the qualification of Industrial Property Attorney with a specialization in Patents.

Within Hautier IP’s patent department, he has worked both on substantive files, advising clients on the best protection strategies to consider, and on the aspects of administrative procedures in France, Europe and abroad.

Thanks to his expertise in IP law and patents, Thibault Marmonier quickly took on the management of partnership, confidentiality, licensing and assignment agreements for his clients, as well as employee invention issues.

In the latter field, he has assisted his clients in setting up an employee invention policy within their companies.

Because of his versatility in intellectual property and business law in general, Thibault Marmonier advises his clients on the protection of digital creations such as computer licenses and databases, as well as on the protection of software and applications, and also on the valuation of their IP.

In parallel to his position as an intellectual property consultant, Thibault Marmonier is in charge of part of the administration of Hautier IP as legal and administrative director.

As such, his missions are to manage, for Hautier IP, the legal aspects of the relations with the customers and the suppliers, a financial follow-up, the implementation of new partnerships, the human resources, the communication or the IT system.
