Mélina Avanes-Acopian is an Industrial Property Attorney in Trademarks and Designs, and a lawyer in business law. Her studies have enabled her to acquire a solid legal background oriented towards private law and the protection of intangible creations allowing her to assist and advise clients in their projects, whether in terms of valuation, protection or defense of their rights. Passionate about the law and the entrepreneurial spirit, Mélina Avanes-Acopian specializes in the protection of intangible assets of companies and in particular their personality through their trademarks.

Following her Master’s degree in Intellectual Property and New Technologies Law at the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis, she joined HAUTIER IP in 2017 in order to support clients in their innovative projects.

With her quality and experience as a lawyer specialized in intellectual property law, and in particular in trademarks and designs, she obtained the qualification of Industrial Property Attorney.

She provides services in trademark law (availability and validity studies, monitoring, opposition and cancellation proceedings, etc.), design law and contract law (drafting of licensing, assignment and confidentiality agreements). She assists clients in their projects and advises them on the best strategy to adopt in order to enhance the value of the various Industrial Property titles, but also in litigation matters in case of dispute with a competitor.
