Career
Jean-Pascal Decobert acquired his first research experience at the National Aerospace Design and Research Office as specialist in computer based modelisation of composite materials.He then turned towards industrial property in a specialized private practice at Lille in France. He has been with Cabinet Hautier since 1998.
Jean-Pascal Decobert also lectures in intellectual property at the Sophia Antipolis Polytechnic University and the Professional University Institute and regularly gives conferences in IP related matters.

Nicolas Hautier specializes in mechanical engineering, microelectronics, IT and semiconductors for clients ranging from worldwide known research centers to innovative start-ups. He has enriched his background in mechanical engineering through patent drafting for a car manufacturing company and household appliances manufacturing companies.
He is also strongly involved in the field of patents related to methods and computer implemented inventions.
He has advised on many patent disputes (litigation, patent infringement, opposition at the European Patent Office in Munich etc).
After completing his MBA, it was natural for him to proceed towards the domains of taxation and IP financial evaluation.
Career
After an initial experience in the patent department of a car manufacturer, Nicolas Hautier was challenged as a patents’ engineer in a patent law firm in Paris.
He also developed his experience in the energy field while working on a program for the American Department of Energy (DOE) at the Berkeley National Laboratory in California.
He gives conferences organized by the French patent office (INPI), by the Chambre de Commerce de l’Industrie (CCI), and lectures in IP law and strategy at the Nice Business School and the Sophia Antipolis Professional University Institute.

She has a strong expertise in opposition of trademarks before the European (OHIM) and the French (INPI) trademark offices.
Career
After acquiring experience from several specialized law firms in Paris, Ségolène Luherne joined the legal department of an industrial firm that gathers many famous companies in the shoes industry.
She has been a trademark attorney for Cabinet HAUTIER since 1999. She now heads the trademark department of Cabinet HAUTIER and advises multinational corporations as well as SME’s.
She lectures in trademark, design and copyright at the Business School in Nice, at the Polytechnical University of Sophia Antipolis and at the Business Management School (IUP MGE) of Sophia Antipolis.

Allison Delaporte is mainly specialized in chemistry, life sciences and medical systems and devices. She assists her clients through the process of patent registration and dispute in France, Monaco as well as at European level.

Philippe MADEC is highly specialized in telecommunications, computer science and microelectronics.
Career
After graduating from Supelec, the French leading engineering school in IT, microelectronics and computer science, Philippe MADEC joined TDF, the European operator of shared facilities and networks for TV & radio broadcasting and telecommunications.From 1994 to 1998 he worked at the CCETT, now ORANGE Labs, leader in the telecommunications technologies (MPEG, TNT etc.). He developed many solutions for Wireless LAN, some of them became the basis for standards adopted by IEEE and ETSI. During that period he was regularly involved in patents.
Four years later, his achievements at CCETT lead him to be hired by ETSI (European Telecommunication Standards Institute) as Coordinator of the standardisation comity of ETSI BRAN “Broadband Radio Access Networks”.
He was particularly involved in the definition of standards for Wifi and Wimax. During his mission, these standards were globaly adopted including as IEEE standards, standards which are still today massively used worldwide.
In 2000 he joined STEPMIND, where he was in charge of the development of GSM receivers and WLAN Baseband signal processing.
In 2006, Philippe MADEC worked for TEXAS INSTRUMENT where he was invloved in Intellectual Property. In particular, his mission consisted in assessing technologies patented by other companies in view of integrating these patents in TEXAS’ patents portfolio.
His various experiences in Intellectual Property have incited him to specialize in IP and to become a Patent Attorney.

René Glaise is specialized in the fields of IT, telecommunications, computer science and microelectronics. He has acquired a strong expertise in these fields working at PHILIPS and IBM as a development engineer and then has a patent engineer.
Career
René Glaise has been working in the microelectronics and computer science industries for many years in France and the United States, successively for PHILIPS and IBM. While with IBM he has accomplished extended assignments in the US; first in BURLINGTON (Vermont) where IBM facility is one of the largest microelectronics plants in the world, then in the Silicon Valley (California) and then in RTP (Research Triangle Park) near RALEIGH, North Carolina.
He had thus the opportunity to work on a very large scope of activities encompassing almost every aspect of the development of communications and computerized products. He was also involved in the development of software including the participation to the development of specialized micro codes and firmwares for the communication products developed jointly by LA GAUDE and RTP IBM centers.
René eventually moved to the intellectual property (IP) department of IBM at LAGAUDE as a patent engineer where he brought his technical expertise in patent drafting.
As a development engineer, René has received from IBM eight Invention Achievement Awards and an Outstanding Technical Achievement award. René has also made numerous publications and has presented papers on his work and activities in many international conferences.
He currently holds, as inventor or co-inventor, more than thirty patents that have been granted by the USPTO, many of which were drafted by himself. He has been a consultant for Cabinet Hautier since 2004.
